Use the Archive

The Archive aims to ensure that access to the collections is as effective, efficient and informed as possible. We provide access to the collections to individuals and groups, on-site at NLW and beyond.

We try to ensure that the Archive is as accessible as possible to everyone:

Viewing and Listening

The Archive provides a viewing and listening service to the public at the Archive's new office complex at The National Library of Wales.

The Archive provides copies of some categories of items for remote viewing purposes to users for specific uses and subject to certain conditions.

NSSAW is part of the BUFVC (British Universities Film and Video Council) initiative for the provision of material for higher education throughout Britain.

Commercial Services

We provide a professional commercial service to those wishing to thoroughly research the collection and make commercial use of the Archive.
