Video copy of rushes of BBC Wales interview with John Reed, Preservation Officer for the Wales Film and Television Archive [now The National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales] about the remarkable discovery in 1994 of the long-lost film 'The Life Story of David Lloyd George', made in 1918 but never screened publicly. John Reed talks of finding the reels of biopic material amongst a collection of family film material from Viscount Tenby, a grandson of Lloyd George, and the subsequent preservation and restoration work undertaken or yet to do. Edited footage from this interview was to be incorporated in a news programme. [See title no. 1596 - The Life Story of David Lloyd George]
