Screen Gems

Following the closure of Sgrin in April 2006, the collection of short films, including the Screen Gem and Animated Gems series were donated to The National Screen and Sound Archive collection.

As Sgrin owned the worldwide theatrical rights to all films produced under the Screen Gems, Digital Visions and Animated Shorts schemes, these rights have now been transferred to the Archive.

The National Screen and Sound Archive will continue to distribute short films to festivals in the UK and internationally, mainly through the British Council and considered special requests.
